Section 102 of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 ( 42 U.S.C. 5602 ) is amended— in paragraph (2), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (3), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: to support a trauma-informed continuum of programs (including delinquency prevention, intervention, mental health and substance abuse treatment, and aftercare) to address the needs of at-risk youth and youth who come into contact with the justice system. .
