Not less than once every 2 years, the ombudsman designated pursuant to section 1035 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act ( 12 U.S.C. 5535 ) shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report— providing a detailed analysis of material terms and conditions in private education loans; and describing changes in the availability of private education loans and other consumer financial products used to finance postsecondary education expenses.
