In this Act: The term microlab means a small laboratory established by the Secretary under section 3. The term national laboratory means— a National Laboratory, as defined in section 2 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C. 15801); and a national security laboratory, as defined in section 3281 of the National Nuclear Security Administration Act ( 50 U.S.C. 2471 ). The term Secretary means the Secretary of Energy.
