Section 517 of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 ( 22 U.S.C. 2321k ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Effective on the date of the enactment of the Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014, Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova are each designated as a major non-NATO ally for purposes of this Act and the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2751 et seq.). The President shall notify Congress in accordance with subsection (a)(2) before terminating the designation of a country specified in paragraph (1). .
