Part D of the Controlled Substances Act ( 21 U.S.C. 841 et seq. ) is amended— in section 404(a) ( 21 U.S.C. 844(a) )— in the fourth sentence— by striking 2 years and inserting 1 year ; by striking $2,500 and inserting $1,000 ; by striking 3 years and inserting 1 year ; and by striking $5,000 and inserting $1,000 ; and by striking the fifth sentence; and in section 422(b) ( 21 U.S.C. 863(b) ), by striking three years and inserting 1 year . The following provisions of the Controlled Substances Act ( 21 U.S.C. 801 et seq. ) are repealed: Clause
(iii)of section 401(b)(1)(A). Clause
(iii)of section 401(b)(1)(B). The following provisions of the Controlled Substances Import and Export Act ( 21 U.S.C. 951 et seq. ) are repealed: Subparagraph
