Section 105 of the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010 (22 U.S.C. 8514) is amended— in the section heading, by striking and inserting certain persons who are responsible for or complicit ; persons involved in subsection (b)— in the subsection heading, by striking and inserting Who are responsible for or complicit ; involved by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following: Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of the Iran Human Rights Accountability Act of 2014 , the President shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a list of persons the President determines have committed or facilitated, directly or indirectly, human rights abuses or other acts of violence, intimidation, or harassment, on behalf of the Government of Iran on or after June 12, 2009, regardless of whether such abuses or acts occurred in Iran. ; and in paragraph (2)(A), by striking this Act and inserting the ; and Iran Human Rights Accountability Act of 2014 by adding at the end the following: For purposes of subsection (b)(1), the term human rights abuses includes actions that violate the rights listed in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted at Paris December 10, 1948. . The table of contents for the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010 is amended by striking the item relating to section 105 and inserting the following: Sec. 105. Imposition of sanctions on persons involved in human rights abuses committed against citizens of Iran or their family members after the June 12, 2009, elections in Iran. .
