Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall designate a network or network segment within the Department of Defense for the purpose of carrying out the cyberspace mapping pilot approved by the Cyber Investment Management Board. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Principal Cyber Advisor shall submit to the Secretary policy recommendations regarding the mapping of cyberspace to support the offensive and defensive operational requirements of the United States Cyber Command.
