Sec. 305. Expediting natural gas exports

Section 3(c) of the Natural Gas Act ( 15 U.S.C. 717b ) is amended— by striking
(c)For purposes and inserting the following: In this subsection, the term World Trade Organization member nation means a country described in section 2(10) of the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. 3501(10)). For purposes ; and in paragraph
(2)(as so designated), by striking a nation with which there is in effect a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas and inserting a World Trade Organization member nation . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall apply to applications for authorization to export natural gas under section 3 of the Natural Gas Act ( 15 U.S.C. 717b ) that are pending on, or filed on or after, the date of enactment of this Act.
