Nothing in this title authorizes the issuance of a lease under the Mineral Leasing Act ( 30 U.S.C. 181 et seq. ) to any person designated for the imposition of sanctions pursuant to— the Syria Accountability and Lebanese Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2003 ( 22 U.S.C. 2151 note; Public Law 108–175 ); the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestiture Act of 2010 ( 22 U.S.C. 8501 et seq. ); section 1245 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 ( 22 U.S.C. 8513a ); the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012 ( 22 U.S.C. 8701 et seq. ); the Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act of 2012 ( 22 U.S.C. 8801 et seq. ); the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 ( 50 U.S.C. 1701 note;
