Section 1847(a)(1) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395w–3(a)(1) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: With respect to rounds of competitions beginning on or after the date of enactment of this subparagraph, the Secretary may only accept a bid from an entity for an area if the entity meets applicable State licensure requirements for such area for all items in such bid for a product category. .
