Section 1834(g) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395m(g) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: In the case of services furnished on or after the date of the enactment of this paragraph, the minimum level of supervision with respect to outpatient therapeutic critical access hospital services shall be general supervision (as defined by the Secretary). . Section 1861(eee)(2)(B) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395x(eee)(2)(B) ) is amended by inserting , or in the case of a critical access hospital, a physician, or (beginning on the date of enactment of after Responsible Medicare SGR Repeal and Beneficiary Access Improvement Act of 2014 ) a nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, or physician assistant (as such terms are defined in subsection (aa)(5)), a physician .
