Section 501 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ( 50 U.S.C. 1861 ), as amended by this Act, is further amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: No tangible thing received by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in response to an order under this section, or any database of such tangible things, may be stored by a private entity or transferred to a private entity for storage. .
