Section 302(b) of the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010 ( 22 U.S.C. 8542(b) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)— in subparagraph (B)— in clause (ii), by striking ; or and inserting a semicolon; in clause (iii), by striking ; and and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: strategic sectors; and ; and in subparagraph (C)(ii), by striking ; or and inserting a semicolon; in paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: that will be sold, transferred, or otherwise made available to a strategic sector of Iran. .
Section 301 of the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010 ( 22 U.S.C. 8541 ) is amended— by redesignating paragraph
(14)as paragraph (15); and by inserting after paragraph
(13)the following: The term strategic sector has the meaning given that term in section 1244(c)(4) of the Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act of 2012. .
