Section 7008 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 ( Public Law 112–74 ; 125 Stat. 1195) is hereby repealed. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any restrictions on assistance to a foreign government as the result of a coup d’état that were enacted before the date of the enactment of this Act shall terminate as of the date of the enactment of this Act and shall no longer apply to the provision of such assistance.
