Sec. 202. Modification of imposition of sanctions with respect to the transfer of goods or technologies to Syria that are likely to be used to commit human rights abuses

Section 703(a)(2) of the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012 ( 22 U.S.C. 8792(a)(2) ) is amended— in subparagraph (B), by striking ; or and inserting a semicolon; in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: has acted for or on behalf of a person on the list, if the person that acted for or on behalf of the person on the list knowingly engaged in the activity described in subsection (b)(2) for which the person was included in the list; or has materially assisted, sponsored, or provided goods, services, or financial, material, or technological support to a person on the list, if the person that assisted, sponsored, or provided goods, services, or support had actual knowledge or should have known that the person on the list engaged in the activity described in subsection (b)(2) for which the person was included in the list. .

Syria Sanctions Enhancement Act of 2013 The President shall submit any list required to be submitted before the date that is 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act by section 703 of the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012 ( 22 U.S.C. 8792 ), as in effect on the day before such date of enactment, in accordance with the provisions of such section 703.
