Section 422(a)(17) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 622(a)(17)) is amended by inserting (which, if the child has attained age 18, may occur by telephone or using a voice over Internet Protocol) after on a monthly basis . The amendment made by this section takes effect on the date of enactment of this Act.
