Sec. 12. Authorization of appropriations

Subject to subsection (c), there is authorized to be appropriated $50,000,000 to carry out this Act, to remain available until expended. Any amounts appropriated to the Secretary under subsection
(a)may be used to support implementation of any cost-sharing authorities provided by this Act. Amounts expended to carry out provisions of this Act that are not subject to a cost-sharing requirement shall not reduce the allocations of appropriated funds to the Secretary for use in— other National Forests not included in the covered area; other States; or other Regions of the Forest Service.
