Section 2112(b) ( 20 U.S.C. 6612(b) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: A description of how the State educational agency will improve teacher and principal knowledge and skill in effectively engaging families in their children’s education. . Section 2113(c) ( 20 U.S.C. 6613(c) ) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs

(18)as paragraphs
(13)through (19), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph
(11)the following: Training of teachers and principals on how to effectively engage families in their children's education. .
