There is established within the Federal Mortgage Insurance Corporation an Office of Federal Home Loan Bank Supervision which shall be headed by the Deputy Director of Federal Home Loan Bank Supervision, who shall be appointed by the Board of Directors. The Office of Federal Home Loan Bank Supervision shall— oversee, coordinate, and supervise the Federal Home Loan Banks and the Federal Home Loan Bank System, including the transition of all activities transferred to the Corporation pursuant to section 301; and supervise any authorized subsidiary of one or more Federal Home Loan Banks that is approved as an approved issuer pursuant to section 213(b)(2)(A)(ii), including with respect to the initial capitalization of any such subsidiary.
