Section 584(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 ( Public Law 112–81 ; 125 Stat. 1433; 10 U.S.C. 1561 note) is amended— by redesignating paragraph
(2)as paragraph (3); and by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following new paragraph (2): The Secretary of the military department concerned shall ensure that each member of the National Guard or Reserve who— is the victim of a sexual assault during the performance of duties as a member of the National Guard or Reserve; or is the victim of a sexual assault committed by a member of the National Guard or Reserves, has access to a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator not later than two business days following the date of such member's request for assistance from a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator. .
