It is the sense of the Senate to strongly urge the Secretary of Defense— to ensure that the Troops-to-Teachers Program is a priority of the nation’s commitment to the higher education of members of the Armed Forces; and to provide funds for the Troops-to-Teachers Program in order to help separating members of the Armed Forces and veterans who wish to transition into a teaching career.
