Section 903(b)(5) of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 ( Public Law 110–417 ; 10 U.S.C. 2228 note) is amended— by inserting
(A)after
(5); and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: The report required under subparagraph
(A)shall— provide a clear linkage between the corrosion control and prevention program of the military department and the overarching goals and objectives of the long-term corrosion control and prevention strategy developed and implemented by the Secretary of Defense under section 2228(d) of title 10, United States Code; and include performance measures to ensure that the corrosion control and prevention program is achieving the goals and objectives described in clause (i). .
