Section 3122(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 (Public Law 112–239; 126 Stat. 2176; 50 U.S.C. 2562 note) is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking 15 and inserting 30 ; by redesignating paragraph
(3)as paragraph (4); by inserting after paragraph
(2)the following new paragraph (3): The Administrator may waive the requirement under paragraph
(1)to submit a report on a modification in the program under subsection
(a)not later than 30 days before making the modification if the Administrator— determines that the modification is urgent and necessary to the national security interests of the United States; and not later than 30 days after making the modification, submits to the appropriate congressional committees— the report on the modification required by paragraph (1); and a justification for exercising the waiver authority under this paragraph. ; and in paragraph (4), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by striking The report under paragraph
(1)and inserting Each report submitted under paragraph
(1)or (3)(B) .
