Clause
(i)of section 215(b)(2)(A) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 415(b)(2)(A) ) is amended to read as follows: in the case of an individual who is entitled to old-age insurance benefits (except as provided in the second sentence of this subparagraph), or who has died— before January 1, 2014, by 5 years; after December 31, 2013, and before January 1, 2015, by 4 years; after December 31, 2014, and before January 1, 2016, by 3 years; and after December 31, 2015, and before January 1, 2017, by 2 years; and . The amendments made by this section shall apply to benefits payable for months beginning after December 31, 2013.
