Subparagraph
(A)of section 801(b)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 ( Public Law 110–181 ; 122 Stat. 202; 10 U.S.C. 2304 note) is amended to read as follows: The limitation in paragraph
(1)shall not apply to the procurement of property and services on behalf of— the Department of Defense by a non-defense agency during any fiscal year for which there is in effect a written determination of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics that it is necessary in the interest of the Department of Defense to procure property and services through the non-defense agency during such fiscal year; or the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs interagency program office established under section 1635 of this Act. . Subparagraph
(B)of such section is amended by inserting
(i)after subparagraph
(A).
