Section 1012 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 ( 10 U.S.C. 7291 note) is amended— by striking subsection
(a)and redesignating subsections
(b)and
(c)as subsections
(a)and (b), respectively; and in subsection (a), as so redesignated— by striking the request shall be for and inserting the request shall include a specific assessment of ; and by inserting in the analysis of alternatives after nuclear power system .
