The Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (hereafter referred to in this division as CDC ) may detail CDC staff without reimbursement for up to 30 days to support an activation of the CDC Emergency Operations Center, so long as the Director provides notification within 15 days of the use of this authority and a full report to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate within 30 days after the use of this authority, which includes the number of staff and funding level broken down by the originating center and number of days detailed: , That the annual reimbursement cannot exceed $3,000,000 across CDC.
