Section 110(b) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 ( 22 U.S.C. 7107(b)(1) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by inserting , acting through the Ambassador-at-Large for Combating Human Trafficking, after Secretary of State ; in subparagraph (E), by striking and at the end; by redesignating subparagraph
(F)as subparagraph (I); and by inserting after subparagraph
(E)the following: a section entitled Best Practices in Slavery Eradication to highlight innovations in prevention, protection, and prosecution of the perpetrators of trafficking , as well as public-private partnerships; a section entitled Refugee-Trafficking Connection to highlight the vulnerability of refugee populations to human trafficking and to make recommendations for the prevention of refugee trafficking; an assessment of the actions taken by the Department of State and the Department of Justice to investigate allegations of trafficking or abuse of nonimmigrants holding an A–3 visa or a G–5 visa (as such terms are defined in section 203(f) of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008), results of such investigations; and ; and in paragraph (2), by inserting , acting through the Ambassador-at-Large for Combating Human Trafficking, after Secretary of State .
