Section 408(a) ( 42 U.S.C. 608(a) ) is amended by striking paragraph (3). The following provisions are each amended by inserting after section 408(a)(3) the following: (as in effect before the effective date of the amendments made by section 10(a) of the Rewriting to Improve and Secure an Exit Out of Poverty Act took effect) : Section 452(a)(10)(C) ( 42 U.S.C. 652(a)(10)(C) ). Section 452(h) (42 U.S.C. 652(h)). Section 454(5)(A) ( 42 U.S.C. 654(5)(A) ). Section 456(a)(1) ( 42 U.S.C. 656(a)(1) ).

Section 466(a)(3)(B) ( 42 U.S.C. 666(a)(3)(B) ). Section 457 ( 42 U.S.C. 657 ) is amended— in subsection (c)(1), by striking means— and all that follows through
(B)foster and inserting means foster ; and by adding at the end the following: Notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this section, all amounts collected by a State as child support on behalf of a child in a family that is receiving assistance under the State program funded under part A or under the State plan approved under part A of this title (as in effect on the day before the date of the enactment of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996) shall be distributed to the family. .
