Section 148 ( 29 U.S.C. 2888 ) is amended— by amending subsection
(a)to read as follows: Each Job Corps center shall provide enrollees with an intensive, well-organized, and supervised program of education, career, and technical education and training, work experience, recreational activities, physical rehabilitation and development, and counseling. Each Job Corps center shall provide enrollees assigned to the center with access to work-ready services described in section 134(c)(2). The activities provided under this subsection shall be targeted to helping enrollees, on completion of their enrollment— secure and maintain meaningful unsubsidized employment; complete secondary education and obtain a regular secondary school diploma; enroll in and complete postsecondary education or training programs, including obtaining recognized postsecondary credentials, industry-recognized credentials, and registered apprenticeships; or satisfy Armed Forces requirements. (1)and
(2)of section 159(c) for the previous year. .
