Section 510 ( 29 U.S.C. 794f ) is amended— by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (d); by inserting after subsection
(b)the following: Not later than 6 months after the date of the issuance of the standards under subsection (a), each appropriate Federal agency authorized to promulgate regulations under section 504 or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 shall prescribe regulations in an accessible format, to the extent necessary to carry out the provisions of this section, section 504, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as applicable, that include accessibility standards that are consistent with the standards issued under subsection (a). ; and in subsection (d), as redesignated by paragraph (1), by adding at the end the following: Not later than 6 months after the date of the issuance of such amended standards, each Federal agency covered by subsection
(c)shall prescribe revised regulations, in an accessible format, that are consistent with the amended standards. .
