Section 2 of the Wagner-Peyser Act (29 U.S.C. 49a) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(2)through
(5)as paragraphs
(3)through (6), respectively; by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following: the term employment service office means a local office of a State agency; ; in paragraph
(3)(as so redesignated)— by striking investment board each place it appears and inserting development board ; and by striking of 1998 and inserting of 2011 ; in paragraph
(4)(as so redesignated)— by striking 134(c) and inserting 221(e) ; and by striking 1998 and inserting 2011 ; in paragraph
(5)(as so redesignated), by striking and at the end; in paragraph
(6)(as so redesignated), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: except in section 15, the term State agency , used without further description, means an agency designated or authorized under section 4; and the term workplace learning advisor , has the meaning given the terms in section 101 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. .
