Section 319 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1430 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by inserting or permanent partner after spouse each place it appears; in subsection (a), by inserting or permanent partnership after marital union ; in subsection (b)(1), by inserting or permanent partner after spouse ; in subsection (b)(3), by inserting or permanent partner after spouse ; in subsection (d)— by inserting or permanent partner after spouse each place it appears; and by inserting or permanent partnership after marital union ; in subsection (e)(1)— by inserting or permanent partner after spouse ; and by inserting or permanent partnership after marital union ; and in subsection (e)(2), by inserting or permanent partner after spouse .
