Section 207(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1157(c) ) is amended— in paragraph (2)— by inserting or permanent partner after spouse each place it appears; by inserting or permanent partner’s after spouse’s ; and in subparagraph (A)— by striking or after (D), ; and by inserting , or

(E); and in paragraph (4), by inserting or permanent partner after spouse .
