Not later than 90 days after the date on which the President designates countries as a country of particular concern for religious freedom under section 402 of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 ( 22 U.S.C. 6442 ), the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to Congress a report on the lack of designation by the President of any other countries recommended for such designation by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. In addition to the report required by subsection (a), the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to Congress a report that focuses specifically on the lack of designation by the President of Pakistan as a country of particular concern for religious freedom under section 402 of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 ( 22 U.S.C. 6442 ) despite the repeated recommendation for such designation by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom.
