Subsection
(a)of section 205 of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 ( 22 U.S.C. 6433 ) is amended to read as follows: The Commission shall— not later than 180 days after the date of the submission of the report required of the Secretary of State under section 102(b), submit an annual report to the President, the Secretary of State, and the appropriate congressional committees setting forth its recommendation for United States policy options based on evaluations of country conditions under paragraphs
(1)and
(2)of section 202(a); and submit recommendations required under paragraphs
(3)and
(4)of section 202(a) sufficiently prior to the annual designation of each country of particular concern for religious freedom under section 402(b) to allow for presidential consideration of such recommendations. .
