Not later than 6 months after the date on which the President determines that the Ebola epidemic in West Africa has been effectively contained, the President shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report that assesses the United States coordination and response to the Ebola epidemic, including how the authorities provided pursuant to this Act were utilized and lessons learned that may have applications in response to future epidemics. In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Energy and Commerce, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate.
