The Act, as amended by section 15, is further amended by inserting after section 13 ( 15 U.S.C. 6307e ) the following: The Commission shall establish and maintain, or certify a third party entity to establish and maintain, a medical registry that contains comprehensive medical records and medical denials or suspensions for every licensed boxer. The Commission shall determine— the nature of medical records and medical suspensions of a boxer that are to be forwarded to the medical registry; and the time within which the medical records and medical suspensions are to be submitted to the medical registry.
The Commission shall establish confidentiality standards for the disclosure of personally identifiable information to boxing commissions that will— protect the health and safety of boxers by making relevant information available to the boxing commissions for use but not public disclosure; and ensure that the privacy of the boxers is protected. .
