Section 1905(a)(13) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396d(a)(13) ) is amended— by striking subparagraphs
(A)and (B); by redesignating subparagraph
(C)as subparagraph (B); and by inserting before subparagraph
(B)(as so redesignated) the following new subparagraph: the items and services described in paragraphs
(1)through
(5)of section 2713(a) of the Public Health Service Act; and . Section 1902(a)(10)(A) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396a(a)(10)(A) ) is amended in the matter preceding clause (i), by inserting , (13)(A) before ,
(17). Section 2103(c)(1)(D) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1397cc(c)(1)(D) ) is amended by striking Well-baby and inserting Items and services described in paragraphs
(1)through
(5)of section 2713(a) of the Public Health Service Act, including well-baby . Section 1916 of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396(o) ) is amended— in subsection (a)(2)— in subparagraph (D), by striking or at the end; in subparagraph (E), by striking hospice care (as defined in section 1905(o)); and at the end and inserting hospice care (as defined in section 1905(o)), or ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: items and services described in section 1905(a)(13)(A); and ; and in subsection (b)(2)— in subparagraph (D), by striking or at the end; in subparagraph (E), by striking hospice care (as defined in section 1905(o)); and at the end and inserting hospice care (as defined in section 1905(o)), or ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: items and services described in section 1905(a)(13)(A); and . Section 1916A(b)(3)(B) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396o–1(b)(3)(B) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new clause: Items and services described in section 1905(a)(13)(A). .
