Part D of title V of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 290dd et seq. ) is amended by adding at the end the following: The Secretary, acting through the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Minority Health, shall award grants to eligible entities for the purpose of providing technical assistance and training regarding the effective development and implementation of integrated interprofessional health care teams that provide behavioral health care. To be eligible to receive a grant under this section, an entity shall be a federally qualified health center (as defined in section 1861(aa) of the Social Security Act) serving a high proportion of individuals from racial and ethnic minority groups (as defined in section 1707(g)).
To carry out this section, there is authorized to be appropriated $20,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2016. .
