Section 104 of title 23, United States Code, is amended— by amending subsection (a)(1) to read as follows: There are authorized to be appropriated from the Highway Account of the Transportation Trust Fund to be made available to the Secretary for administrative expenses of the Federal Highway Administration— $442,248,000 for fiscal year 2015; $451,248,000 for fiscal year 2016; $460,248,000 for fiscal year 2017; and $469,248,000 for fiscal year 2018. . in subsection (c)(2)— by adding and thereafter after 2014 the first time it appears; and in subparagraph
(A)by adding and each fiscal year thereafter after 2014 ; and by inserting at the end the following: Before making an apportionment under subsection
(c)for each of fiscal years 2015 through 2018, the Secretary may set aside up to $25,000,000 for each fiscal year to carry out the implementation of future strategic highway research program findings and results under section 503(c)(2)(C). Funds expended under this subsection shall not be considered to be part of the extramural budget of the agency for the purpose of section 9 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 638) . Section 505 of title 23, United States Code, is amended by striking subsection
(c)and redesignating subsections
(d)and
(e)as
(c)and (d), respectively.
