Subsection (b)(3) of section 201 of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 (22 U.S.C. 6431) is amended by striking The appointments required by paragraph

(1)shall be made not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act. and inserting the following: The President and Members of Congress are encouraged to appoint members of the Commission within 90 days of a vacancy on the Commission. . Subsection

(g)of section 201 of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 ( 22 U.S.C. 6431 ) is amended by striking the second sentence.
