The Authorization for Use of Military Force ( Public Law 107–40 ; 50 U.S.C. 1541 note) is hereby repealed. The repeal contained in subsection (a)— takes effect on the date that is 240 days after the date of the enactment of this Act; and applies with respect to each operation or other action that is being carried out pursuant to the Authorization for Use of Military Force initiated before such effective date.
