Section 713 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2010 ( Public Law 111–84 ; 10 U.S.C. 1073 note) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking Secretary of Defense and inserting Secretary concerned ; in subsection (b)— by striking Secretary shall and inserting Secretary concerned shall ; in paragraph (1)(A), by inserting if the Secretary establishing such agreement is the Secretary of Defense before the semicolon; and in paragraph (3), by inserting or the military department concerned after the Department of Defense ; and by adding at the end the following new subsection:
In this section, the term Secretary concerned means— the Secretary of a military department; or the Secretary of Defense. .
