The Secretary of the Air Force may enter into contracts for the life-of-type procurement of covered parts of the intercontinental ballistic missile fuze. Notwithstanding section 1502(a) of title 31, United States Code, of the amounts authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 2015 by section 101 and available for Missile Procurement, Air Force, as specified in the funding table in section 4101, $4,500,000 shall be available for the procurement of covered parts pursuant to contracts entered into under subsection (a). In this section, the term covered parts means commercial off-the-shelf items as defined in section 104 of title 41, United States Code.
