Sec. 1. Inclusion of American Samoa in the Wagner-Peyser Act

The Wagner-Peyser Act is amended— in section 2(5) ( 29 U.S.C. 49a(5) ), by inserting American Samoa, after Guam, ; in section 5(b)(1) ( 29 U.S.C. 49d(b)(1) ), by inserting and American Samoa after Guam ; and in section 6(a) ( 29 U.S.C. 49e(a) )— by striking allot to Guam and inserting “allot to— Guam ; by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: American Samoa an amount which, in relation to the total amount available for the fiscal year, is equal to the allotment percentage that Guam received of amounts available under this Act in fiscal year 1983 .
