Sec. 556. Plan for education of members of Armed Forces on cyber matters

Not later than 360 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense, in cooperation with the Secretaries of the military departments, shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a plan for the education of officers and enlisted members of the Armed Forces relating to cyber security and cyber activities of the Department of Defense. The plan submitted under subsection
(a)shall include the following: A framework for provision of basic cyber education for all members of the Armed Forces. A framework for undergraduate and postgraduate education, joint professional military education, and strategic war gaming for cyber strategic and operational leadership. Definitions of required positions, including military occupational specialties and rating specialties for each military department, along with the corresponding level of cyber training, education, qualifications, or certifications required for each specialty.
