Section 503 of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3093 ) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: For each type of activity undertaken as part of a covert action, the President shall establish in writing a plan to respond to the unauthorized public disclosure of that type of activity. .
