Sec. 1733. Review of training and education provided members of the Armed Forces on sexual assault prevention and response

The Secretary of Defense shall carry out a review of the adequacy of the training and education provided members of the Armed Forces on sexual assault prevention and response. Upon completion of the review, the Secretary of Defense shall— identify common core elements that must be included in any training or education provided members of the Armed Forces on sexual assault prevention and response; and recommend such other modifications of such training and education as the Secretary considers appropriate to address any inadequacies identified during the review.
Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report containing the results of the review, including the common core elements identified in the review that will be included in any training or education provided members of the Armed Forces on sexual assault prevention and response.
