Subsection
(a)of section 1535 of the Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 ( Public Law 111–383 ; 124 Stat. 4426), as most recently amended by section 1533 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 ( Public Law 112–239 ; 126 Stat. 2058), is further amended— in paragraph (6), by striking and October 31, 2011, October 31, 2012, and October 31, 2013 and inserting October 31 of each of 2011 through 2014 ; and in paragraph (8), by striking September 30, 2013 and inserting December 31, 2014 . Subparagraph
(B)of paragraph
(4)of such subsection, as so amended, is further amended— in clause (i), by striking and at the end; in clause (ii), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: may not exceed $63,800,000 for fiscal year 2014. . Paragraph
(4)of such subsection is further amended— by redesignating subparagraph
(C)as subparagraph (D); by inserting after subparagraph
(B)the following new subparagraph (C): None of the funds available for fiscal year 2014 pursuant to subparagraph (B)(iii) may be obligated to assist the Government of Afghanistan in the purchase of equipment, supplies, or materials for mining and oil and gas resources during fiscal year 2014 or the installation of such equipment, supplies, or materials, until the date on which the Secretary of Defense certifies to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives that the Government of Afghanistan has agreed to reimburse the Government of the United States for the amount of any such funds, from royalties received from mining or oil and gas contracts awarded by the Government of Afghanistan. ; and in subparagraph (D), as redesignated by paragraph (1), by inserting after of funds across fiscal years . Availability Paragraph (7)(B) of such subsection, as so amended, is further amended by striking 90 days and inserting 180 days .
